UNDATED -- The 11th annual Give to the Max Day is coming up later this month, but you don't have to wait until then to give to your favorite charity. You can donate anytime between now and Thursday, November 14th.

Executive Director Jake Blumberg says last year more than 70,000 donors supported nearly 6,000 causes during Give to the Max Day.

Last year we set a new record with more than $21 million donated through Give to the Max Day, and with our 11 years' worth of history now we know we'll be seeing more than a transaction per second through our website on Give to the Max Day.

Blumberg says last year the biggest fundraiser in Stearns County was the Sisters of the Order of Saint Benedict, in Benton County, it was Lucky's Place, and in Sherburne County, it was Community Aid of Elk River.

He says, if you have a favorite cause that you want to help raise money for, there is a fundraiser tool that you can set-up on their website.

That's one of the most powerful asks out there is when a friend asks a friend, and we have tools on givemn.org where folks can set-up fundraiser pages in less than five minutes to benefit the organization they care about.

Blumberg says once again this year non-profit organizations will be eligible for golden ticket prizes ranging from $500 to up to $10,000.

Give to the Max Day has raised more than $170 million over the past 10 years.
