If you are a fan of the "weekend update" segment on Saturday Night Live, you absolutely know who this particular comedian is.

THE WEEKEND UPDATE CO-HOST WILL BE HERE THE END OF AUGUST

Michael Che has been on SNL for thirteen years.  He started off as a writer, and then moved to the on-air position as the co-host of the Weekend Update along with Colin Jost in September of 2014 and has remained there since then.

Michael Che will be heading to perform at First Avenue.  There will be two days of performances, with two performances each day.  So you will have four chances to take in the show. Luckily, these dates are a Friday and Saturday which usually works better with most people's schedules.

FOUR PERFORMANCES OVER TWO DAYS TO CHOOSE FROM

August 28th and 29th with an early show and a late show both days.  The early show begins at 7pm and the late show begins at 9:30pm. Tickets are on sale now, and can be purchased through the First Avenue website.

BUT WAIT - THERE'S MORE

These shows have a kind of cool factor to them as well.  The shows will be filmed for a televised special which will air at a later date.  But because of this, there are some simple rules that they are asking people to follow.

PLEASE arrive early for the tapings for the 7:00PM show and 9:30PM show. The shows will begin promptly at 7PM and 9:30PM. The seats are general admission. All shows are strictly 21+; no accompanied minors will be permitted entry. Ticketholders may not be permitted into the showroom late due to filming.

And also note that these tickets are general admission.  So the seats are on a first come, first served basis.  No reserved seating.

If you are interested, this would be a great show to attend, and then see it later on HBO.
