It's crazy to think that August is almost here.  By the time the 4th of July rolls around, you know that we are basically half way through the summer.  Not the calendar summer, but the unofficlal summer.

At the end of August, it's great Minnesota get together, otherwise known as the Minnesota State Fair.

One of the great things about the fair is all of the awesome entertainment that they have there.  There are a bunch, I think over 90 FREE shows throughout the fairgrounds, and also a show every night of the 12 days of the fair in the Grandstand.

This year. the lineup looks great, as there is something for every taste of music, as usual.  They do try and at least spread out the types of musical acts they book at the State Fair.

Most of these shows still have tickets available as well.

If you happen to be at the fair that day of the talent show and want to see it, that's the great thing about it being free.  Just walk in, take a seat and watch some local talent.  There are some preliminary rounds prior to the state fair show to lead them to this point.
