TCHS Wants to Introduce Your New Family Member – Shadow

This week we are featuring a large puppy named Shadow!  He is just a big ol' goofy pup who needs fo find his forever home.  And when I say he's a big ol' pup, I mean he is 61 pounds and only 6 months old, so he is a big boy.  But a big loveable boy.

HE IS STILL A PUPPY - AND WOULD LOVE TO COME HOME WITH YOU

Since he is still a puppy, he will need some basic training, as any puppy would need.  He is full of energy and loves people and toys.  However, it isn't known how he is around kids or cats.  Did well with another dog.  But it is recommended that slow introductions with a resident pet or kids would happen before adopting Shadow.

You can make an appointment to come in and meet Shadow, or you can always stop in and request to see him.  Always a good idea to ask to see the adoptable pets outside of their kennels.  They do so much better that way.  You get to see how they really are out in the yard.

SANTA PAWS FUNDRAISER RETURNS TO THE TCHS NEXT WEEKEND

TCHS has a fun event coming up next weekend, the 12th through the 14th of November.  Santa Paws!  It's a fundraiser, but it is also a super fun event.

Please join us for Santa Paws, our annual holiday fundraiser. For $55, you will receive a flash drive with five portrait photos by a professional photographer with full publishing rights. Once again, the set will be in the building next to our shelter. (It’s the home of our For Pets’ Sake Thrift store.) Payment will be due at the time of the photograph.

Check the photographer schedule on their website and make an appointment to have your pic taken - great for Christmas cards.  Talking with Kate from the TCHS, they at one time even had a horse come in for a photo.  Obviously that one had to be taken outside, but how fun!

For more information on Santa Paws, or on Shadow, or on any other adoptable pet they have at the Tri-County Humane Society, just call, stop in or check the website.
