Minnesota Ice Cream Shop Named the Best in the US

There's one ice cream shop in Minnesota that was just named the best in the entire country, which is pretty crazy considering it's cold enough here that we could let ice cream sit outside for half the year. Let's be honest, though, the cold has never stopped us Minnesotans from enjoying some ice cream.

Anyway, this ice cream shop is in White Bear Lake and it's called Cup and Cone. And while they may have taken the top spot, there are other Minnesota ice cream shops that are among some of the best.

The Best Ice Cream in Minnesota

The way the best ice cream shop in the country was determined was actually by voting from customers.

It was hosted by a website called The 64, who puts together these brackets and then people vote for their favorites in order to determine an ultimate winner.

In the end. Cup and Cone in White Bear Lake came out on top!

They shared their excitement about winning the bracket on social media saying:

Pumphouse Creamery in Minneapolis (made it to round 5 of 6, they almost competed against Cup and Cone!)

Grand Ole Creamery in St. Paul (made it to round 4 of 6)
