I know, Father's Day is not the same as Mother's Day - traditionally.  But that doesn't mean that Dad's don't need any recognition.  Maybe they would like to spend some time with their family, friends, or family and friends at a great concert!

CHECK OUT SO MANY SHOW AND CONCERT OPTIONS IN MINNESOTA

Right now, there are so many shows coming to the area.  There are now the big outdoor venues such as the brand new Mystic Lake Amphitheatre in Shakopee, Target Field and our own right here in the St. Cloud area - the Ledge Amphitheatre in Waite Park.  Plus all of the arenas, such as Grand Casino Arena, formerly the Xcel Energy Center.  There are a lot of options for concerts and shows to choose from.  And some stellar talent coming to perform at these venues.

HOW ABOUT JOURNEY - THE LAST FRONTIER TOUR COMING IN OCTOBER

Journey, and their Last Frontier tour is coming to Grand Casino Arena on October 4th of this year. This is (supposedly) the last tour the band will do.  Hence the name - last frontier tour.  Double meaning there.  Lead singer Arnel Pineda has made it well known that he wants to be done touring.  So unless Steve Perry comes back (that's not likely) this will be it.  So if you would like to see Journey in an arena format, this will be your chance.

TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW AND SOME ARE RELATIVELY AFFORDABLE

Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster.

After more than five decades of arena-shaking performances, era-defining hits, and one of the most enduring catalogs in rock history, JOURNEY is extending their massive Final Frontier Tour with 40 additional North American dates this fall.

When I checked prices just a few minutes ago I see that they range from about $75 to around $300+  Depending on your budget, the $75 tickets seem like they would be affordable compared to a lot of shows coming to the area.

MIGHT BE A GREAT IDEA FOR A LAST MINUTE FATHER'S DAY GIFT
