Weekends in Central Minnesota revolve mostly around attending activities that we can't do during the colder months. One of those weekend events that people tend to go to, is heading out to the local racetrack. The Ogilvie Raceway is making some repairs before racing resumes this weekend. The racetrack needed to repair some speakers and TVs after a lightning strike last weekend damaged the equipment.

A post to the racetracks social media yesterday outlined the repairs that needed to be made, and then what events are coming this weekend.

"Lots of extra work getting done here today to get ready for MOD WARS - USMTS - United States Modified Touring Series vs Wissota Auto Racing following the lightning strike that took out a lot of our speakers and TVs.

Thank you Crawford Equipment in Cambridge for the awesome equipment to get these repairs done quickly. For sales, service or rental of equipment, please contact them at 763-689-1794 or www.crawfordsequip.com.

See you this Thursday, Friday and Saturday for Mod Wars - USMTS vs WISSOTA Modifieds!"
