There are people that think the COVID-19 coronavirus hasn't really spread that quickly. They say that there are only 300,000 plus cases since this started a few months ago. To them, it's not spreading "that fast."

Whether you think it's fast or not, the CDC website says:

The virus that causes COVID-19 seems to be spreading easily and sustainably in the community (“community spread”) in some affected geographic areas. - CDC.gov

 

I came across a website called FastCompany.com which listed a few maps. One of those maps, you can see how fast the virus has spread from it's origin point in China.

Healthmap.org is from Boston Children's Hospital, along with other hospitals including Harvard. Besides COVID-19 info. This map using Mapbox.com actually shows many different diseases across the world. It can also give you alerts when something comes up in your area.
