Miller Lite Cancels Free Beer on Leap Day
It's Leap Day and you might have been extra excited because you were going to get free beer today. Earlier this week, Miller Lite announced that today, everyone would get a free 24-pack of beer. But they weren't just handing them out at your local liquor store. You had to send them the receipt of your purchase and they would reimburse via Pay Pal. There were a couple other hoops to jump through as well.
But earlier this week, there was an unfortunate shooting at the Milwaukee Brewing campus where five people were killed. Given the news, Molson Coors understandably cancelled this promotion.
