St. Paul Ranks Safest Minnesota City In National Safety Survey
If you had to take a guess, which Minnesota city would you assume is the safest?
According to WalletHub, who surveyed over 180 United States cities to find the safest of all, Minnesota's capital city finished first out of those in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
AMERICA'S SAFEST CITY
“When people think about safety in a city, their minds probably immediately go to things like the crime rate, auto fatality rate or risk of natural disasters. The safest cities in America protect residents from these threats of bodily harm and property damage, but on top of that, they also help secure people’s financial safety, said WalletHub's Chip Lupo. "Financial safety includes things like minimizing the risk of fraud and identity theft, keeping the population employed and insured, and combating homelessness.”
Using factors such as Home & Community Safety, Natural Distasters and Financial Safety, WalletHub found Juneau, Alaska to be the safest city in the country, followed by Warwick, Rhode Island; Overland Park, Kansas; Burlington, Vermont and South Burlington, Vermont in the top five, respectively.
