Minnesota Edition Of ‘Love Is Blind’ Features Former St. Cloud State Athlete
The latest season of Netflix's Love Is Blind features 32 singles from Minnesota hoping to find love. The show is a 'social experiment' where couples interact- and even get engaged- before meeting face-to-face.
Previous seasons of Love is Blind have filmed in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, Houston, Charlotte and Washington, D.C. The Minnesota-based season eight premiered on February 14th.
One of the 'contestants' looking for love is Scott Sanderson, who played baseball at St. Cloud State from 2010-2014. His SCSU biography lists him as an Elkton, South Dakota native who attended Flandreau Public High School, where he lettered in football, basketball, track, baseball and golf.
I had a chance to meet Scott when he played for the Alexandria Beetles in 2011 and he seemed like a good dude! He was definitely well-liked amongst his peers, so I will be rooting for him to find love!
A 34-year-old project manager from the Midwest, Scott Sanderson is as loyal as they come—his friends even call him a “golden retriever” for his upbeat and energetic nature.
But on Love Is Blind Season 8, he’s making decisions for himself rather than relying on others’ opinions. While he may struggle with long dates sitting still in the pods, a deep conversation with a well-read woman will definitely get his tail wagging.

The first six episodes of the Minnesota edition of Love Is Blind were released on Friday, February 14th. Three more episodes will drop on February 21st, an additional three on February 28th and the season finale is set for March 7th.
