Here is a phrase you don't hear much these days, "add this to your calendar".

Seltzerland, a festival based around tasting hard seltzers, is still happening in Minnesota this year. The original event was set to happen in April, but due to a pandemic and Stay at Home Order, things changed.

Cannonball Productions, the company putting on the event, has made the decision to move the event from brick and mortar venues to golf courses to allow for more social distancing. Minnesota's stop on the tour will be at Phalen Park Golf Course in St. Paul on September 12th.

The company issued a statement saying:

Guests will be able to socially distance in groups of 10 or less and spread out across each course’s fairways. Leisurely walk 9 holes at each course while safely sampling from 50+ flavors of hard seltzer.

While there will be no golfing on the course that day, guests will be able to experience music, photo ops, games, tastings, and even get to vote for their favorite seltzer.

Guests are encouraged to regularly sanitize and wash hands while at the event, and wear face masks when not sampling. To keep with the golf course theme, tee times are how they are organizing people on the course, and are set to let a new group out every 10 minutes. The experience lasts about 2 and a half hours and costs $59 for general admission, and $99 for VIP (better timeslots, a commemorative tasting glass, a complimentary can of seltzer, food, and free parking).
