Located just 30 minutes from St. Cloud, the Wright County Swappers Meet is gearing up to start the 2020 season.

Sitting just outside of South Haven, the market is open Saturdays from sunrise to 1 pm, April through October, and open Fridays and Sundays of holiday weekends as well. They average 200-300 Sellers on any given Saturday, and 400+ on holiday weekends. Vendors vary from week to week, so what is being sold always changes, but with over 200 vendors, there's bound to be something for everyone in the family.

Keeping you fueled up for shopping are various food and drink vendors, and some weeks there are even live music performers. There's a reason this was voted Minnesota's Best Flea Market.

With the COVID-19 outbreak the swap meet might look a little different this year. The opening date is set for June 6th, and the owners have shared a COVID-19 preparedness plan. Some of those changes include:

  • Handwashing stations/hand sanitizer set up at the entrance gates
  • Staff and vendors will be required to wear face masks or shields
  • Shoppers are encouraged to wear face masks
  • Some outdoor seating will be allowed provided food vendors regularly sanitize the areas
  • Bathrooms will be cleaned twice per employee shift

The 11 acres of shopping grounds is completely open-air and allows for proper social distancing throughout the event. Admission and parking are both free but wear good walking shoes. If you visit each vendor you will put on roughly two miles.
