Missing the Fair? You Can Rent a Ferris Wheel in St. Cloud

If 2020 had been any other year we would be in prime fair/festival season. There would be no shortage of fried food and carnival rides, and instead, fairgrounds are sitting empty and eerily quiet.

Luckily there are plenty of places helping us get our fair food fix, but getting our carnival ride fix is a bit harder. A person can't just hop on a Ferris wheel anytime they feel like it... or can they?

Gopher State Expositions, Inc. in St. Cloud is renting out their Ferris wheel for special events like graduations, weddings, corporate events, or just because.

Their Facebook post advertising the rental option states:

Safe social distancing by design. Clean and santized frequently. Fun because we all desreve it.

Amen to that. I think we could all use a little fun and excitement these days. Think of how excited your neighbors would be if one day there was a giant ferris wheel being set up on your street. You would be the talk of the neighborhood for years to come. Heck, you might even get a few neighbors to go in on it with you.
