PAW Patrol is coming to Nickelodeon Universe!

Following last week's surprise announcement from the Mall of America that they would be retiring the Jimmy Neutron ride (which took place over the weekend), they have now announced the ride's replacement.

According to Bring Me the News, a PAW Patrol "immersive experience" will fill the space left behind by Jimmy Neutron's Atomic Collider. The 4,000 square foot play area will allow kids to "recreate their favorite PAW Patrol missions inside the world of Adventure Bay in an exciting open-play experience."

"Whether preparing for rescue missions inside of Lookout Tower or climbing down to the beach to see if there are any turtles or crabs that need saving, kids of all ages will find something new around every corner while visiting the attraction," Bring Me the News quotes the MOA as saying.

PAW Patrol is a Canadian-produced animated television series for kids that has aired on Nickelodeon since 2013. The show follows a boy named Ryder and his pack of search and rescue dogs -- the PAW Patrol. Together, they protect their home community of Adventure Bay.

The PAW Patrol attraction is scheduled to open late summer 2018. Jimmy Neutron's Atomic Collider was an original 1992 ride, though it went by the name Treetop Tumbler until 2007.
