After Halloween ends most people start celebrating the Christmas spirit before Turkey Day even happens. There are some aspects of this that are enjoyable, and some that are irritating.

It’s nice that people are typically more kind and generous this time of the year, but it’s rather bothersome that we have to tolerate two entire months of Christmas music (you know it’s bad.) One aspect of celebrating a little early that I actually enjoy is the abundant amount Holiday movies that air this time of the year.

Admit it, even if you’re a Grinch of sorts, you know there are a least a handful of Christmas movies that warm your heart. It’s a fun and lighthearted way to bring your family and friends together for a couple of hours.

So, what is Minnesota’s favorite Christmas film? The answer is – Home Alone. Great choice Minnesota! When I was growing up this was hands down my favorite movie to watch this time of year, and I even still watch it on occasion.
