There are those who love hockey. And then there are those who love hockey to the tune of 6 million dollars!  Wow!

If you've ever been to Baudette, Mn, you know it's a small town. It's near the Canadian border. And it's filled with folks who love hockey. In fact, one former resident of the town who grew up playing hockey, has such fond memories of his home, that he's donated 6 million dollars to build the Lake of the Woods International Arena. The balance of the cost is being raised privately and won't cost taxpayers a dime.

The donor wants to remain anonymous, but they say he's a guy from Baudette who has done well in life, and just wants to give back. I'm betting that folks who live there will be able to figure out who it is though. Small towns are like that. Very cool.
