Need a Summer Job? Mystic Lake Amphitheatre is Hiring in Shakopee
If you are in search of a summer job, and like listening to music and working in a place where that is accessible all of the time - this might be just the thing for you.
GET PAID TO LISTEN TO SOME GREAT SHOWS AT THE NEW AMPHITHEATRE
The brand new Mystic Lake Amphitheatre is now hiring for just about any job you could possibly imagine they would need at this venue. Anything for ticket takers, uhers, housekeeping, guest ambassadors, security and more! And the pay varies from job to job depending on your duties, as you would expect.
WHAT TYPE OF PERSON ARE THEY LOOKING TO HIRE
The description on the website says this is the type of person they are looking for:
Passionate and motivated. Driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit. Resourceful, innovative, forward thinking and committed. At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities
If you are concerned about any sort of education requirement, it looks like just a GED or High School is required. So, probably no issues there. If you would like to apply, and see what jobs are available and what the pay is for each position, you can do that through Indeed.
To be clear, you would essentially be working for Live Nation, as they actually own the venue. Mystic Lake has the naming rights, but it is not part of Mystic Lake Casino and Hotel. There seemed to be some confusion about that. It's a couple miles away from the casino, but it's probably a good idea to stay at the hotel if you are going to a show at the amphitheatre. Plus, I do believe there is a shuttle service offered. That's definitely a win, or use ride share.
ABOUT LIVE NATION, AND WHO YOU WOULD BE WORKING FOR
From what I saw, pay ranges anywhere from $12 to $25 an hour. There could be some areas that pay more than that, it's just what I noticed by glancing through the jobs that are available.
