If you asked me what I did for Easter 2020, I wouldn't be able to tell you. That was right at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic shutting everything down, and if I had to guess I think I just went home and spent time with my parents. But I do remember the weather being less than ideal for the spring holiday.

This year, Easter falls on April 4th, and in Minnesota, the weather could be doing ANYTHING on that day. Skittles candy must know that because their new camouflage egg hunt packaging matches any scenario we could find ourselves in.

The new "impossible Egg Hunt" packaging is meant to blend into any situation. The fun-sized Skittles bags are being made to look like grass, tree bark, asphalt, kitchen floor tile, and the most likely match for a Minnesota Easter, snow.

I think it is so thoughtful of the Wrigley Company to think of Minnesotans this Easter. We truly don't know if we will be egg hunting Easter morning in three feet of snow, or freshly cut green grass. Or there is the potential for it to be a big spring melt and we are confined to hiding things in the trees to avoid puddles. Or we could be hiding candy on the asphalt because it is the only thing that has any snow cleared off of it. I'm feeling very seen right now for the climate in which I live, and I appreciate it.

The Instagram account @candyhunting spotted them at a Hy-Vee store, but these super camouflaged candies should be on store shelves everywhere this holiday season.
