Northern MN Bar Looking For Thieves That Took Their Signs
A Northern Minnesota bar and its patrons came back to work after the 4th of July only to discover that its signage had been stolen. The bar, which is located up in Britt Minnesota, does have outside cameras and the owners are hoping someone can help them ID the sign-stealing bandits.
The bar posted about the stolen signage in the Minnesota Dive Bar social media page, and the message from the Britt-bar is simple.
The bar is just looking to get its signage back.
In January a post to the bar's social media page indicated that the bar was possibly up for sale, it's unclear if the bar is under new ownership, which could be the reason behind the signs being taken. But the bar is still listed as being for sale by Greg Follmer of the Follmer Commercial Real Estate, online for $275,000.
The main bar sign, near the parking lot looks to be the signage that was stolen. The sign appears to be white with 'the Oasis' painted on it, with a square-border that goes around the lettering.
The sign must not be HUGE as it fits into the back of a Chevrolet Equinox.
Luckily it seems like the big Oasis sign on the front of the building is still there.
Here's to hoping the signage returns to The Oasis.
