New Ulm's Oktoberfest Is Ranked Among The Best In America

We are in that season where Oktoberfest celebrations are happening all over the country. Most places have their Oktoberfest at the end of September, but some will actually be in October.

This is the case with the Oktoberfest celebration that happens in New Ulm, Minnesota. This particular celebration has been talked about quite a bit. The thing is huge! It's even done over two weekends, because apparently one weekend isn't quite enough time. And, apparently it is absolutely worth it to take a little drive to New Ulm.

RANKING

USA Today conducted a survey of the best Oktoberfest celebrations around the country. They released the top 10 and the New Ulm festivities came in at number 7. Not too shabby when you consider this is a ranking of ALL of the festivals in the country. Not just here in Minnesota.

Come to one of the best Oktoberfest celebrations in the nation! This traditional festival is modeled after one of the world’s largest celebrations, held each year for several centuries in Munich, Germany. New Ulm’s version takes place during the first two full weekends in October, with festivities happening all over town!
