We're nearing the end of January 2021, and life is still creeping its way back to some form of pre-COVID normal.

Perhaps the one thing we're all missing most is live events -- the freedom and ability to get out of the house and participate in live entertainment or an activity with other people. Obviously, we must continue to be cautious and cognizant of the reality that is COVID-19. But with the current allowances, bars, restaurants, breweries and other spaces of social gatherings are reopening their doors at 25% or 50% capacity and beginning to get live events on their calendars again. Here are some upcoming ones we found in the St. Cloud area:

Bob Ross Painting Party at Hope Covenant Church

January 29

Ladies of all ages are invited to a Bob Ross Painting Party at Hope Covenant Church, Friday, January 29 at 6:00pm. Registration is asked by end of day January 27. No expertise is required.

 

Aksel Krafnick at the Veranda Lounge

January 30

Local artist Aksel Krafnick will be doing a live set January 30 from 6:30-9:30pm. His set will include a variety of covers and originals. Show is free.

 

Sartell Winter Market

February 6

Through April, visit the Sartell Community Center to shop the Sartell Winter Market. Peruse a variety of local vendors selling meat, eggs, bread, salsa, treats, gifts, and more!

 

FatBikeFest 12

February 6

Montiview Mountain Bike Challenge Course and Trailhead Cycling host the 12th annual Fat Bike Festival since 2007 at the Montiview Mountain Bike Challenge Course in Monticello. Cost is $24.42.

 

Justin Ploof and The Throwbacks at Pioneer Place

February 11-13

Justin Ploof and The Throwbacks present "Jive Talkin - Best of The Bee Gees" at Pioneer Place on Fifth in St. Cloud. Originally scheduled for July 16-18, 2020 the show will run run for three nights February 11-13.

 

An Evening With Janis at Pioneer Place

February 26-27

Stacy Bauer takes the stage at Pioneer Place for two nights of Janis Joplin hits February 26 and 27.
