Pine Grove Zoo in Little Falls Seeking Volunteers for 2021

I've currently been obsessed with watching the Disney+ series Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom, and realizing that my ultimate dream job is working with the animals there. While the dreamer/Disney fan side of me says "go live your dream!" the logistical side knows better.

But that doesn't mean I couldn't find something similar to that experience, and that something might just be in Little Falls.

Pine Grove Zoo put out a call on Facebook looking for volunteers for 2021.

Do you have a few hours a week or month you’d like to share with Pine Grove Zoo? We are looking for volunteers for the 2021 season. Our Volunteers are an amazing part of the Pine Grove Zoo Family and continue to make a difference. You decide how many hours a week or a month that you can volunteer.

Some of the options for volunteering include:

• Admission/Gift Shop Attendants
• Tour Guides
• Petting Stable Buddies
• Zoo Crew (working special events and fundraisers)
• Photographers
• Projects Aids
• Zooiful Ambassador (minor landscaping)

There really is a volunteering opportunity for everyone of all ages, and opportunities to get your entire family involved.

Pine Grove Zoo is one of my favorite places in the world, I grew up going there, and even as an adult I make it a point to go at least once a summer. What I love is that their focus is on education and conservation. They truly care about each and every animal in their care, and they want to see the species as a whole thrive in the wild. I'm going to have to take a look at my schedule for this year, because volunteering at the zoo sounds like a blast!
