UPDATE: Power Restored Following Outage Sauk Rapids

SAUK RAPIDS -- Power has been restored to the Sauk Rapids area after an outage Tuesday afternoon.

East Center Energy says roughly 2,000 customers were without power due to an outage at the Mayhew substation.

Crews say the outage was cause by a small animal.

The outage lasted about an hour as power was restored around 3:10 p.m.
