It's a Christmas Princemas tree.

A photo shared to the Minnesota thread of Reddit has internet users rolling on the floor laughing (ROFL) for its depiction of what would happen if you watered your Christmas tree with water from Lake Minnetonka.

"This is what happens when you water your tree with water from Lake Minnetonka," reads the caption of the photo, which itself reveals a Christmas tree decorated as Prince with white Christmas lights down the middle, a "robe" of purple lights, a cutout of Prince's face on the top and a halo of lights around that. Reddit users have had a heyday in the comment section.

"That joke is so corny it made my doves cry," joshed one.

"Did it purify it too?" asked another, referencing the scene between Prince and Apollonia in the 1984 movie Purple Rain.

"That ain't Lake Minnetonka," quoted another, also referring to the Purple Rain scene.

The photo credits Instagram user @Davie_Dave as the original source and creator. While the cutout of Prince's face is certainly clever and sure to be appreciated by any Minnesotan, a survey of Central Minnesotans last year determined that the most popular Christmas tree topper was, in fact, a star followed by an angel.
