Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network is reporting that the Minnesota Vikings will sign free agent kicker Dan Bailey, and have waived kicker Daniel Carlson.

The move comes one day after Carlson missed three field goals, two of which came in overtime -- resulting in a 29-29 tie with the Packers at Lambeau Field. The Vikings drafted Carlson this year in the 5th round, the highest the team had ever taken a kicker in a draft. Carlson had beaten out Kai Forbath for the job during the preseason.

Bailey is second most accurate field goal kicker (88%) in NFL history, kicking for the Dallas Cowboys for seven seasons before being cut by the team just before the start of the season.
