Just Announced: Minnesota State Fair Concert
Even though it's snowy and cold outside, we are still thinking about the Great Minnesota Get-Together! The grandstand acts are always announced throughout the off season leading up the the fair which is 12 days at the end of August through Labor Day.

MINNESOTA STATE FAIR ANNOUNCING GRANDSTAND SHOWS
Just this morning, the Minnesota State Fair announced that Rod Stewart will be one of the headliners and bringing along special guest Richard Marx. The show is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1st, which is not Labor Day, as that day is always the first Monday of September which in 2026 will be September 7th. This past year it was very early, as the first fell on a Monday.
Sir Rod Stewart is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with more than 250 million albums and singles sold worldwide. His signature voice, style and songwriting have transcended all genres of popular music – from rock, soul and R&B to the standards and big band swing – making him one of the few stars to enjoy chart-topping albums in every decade of a career that spans 50-plus years.
Rod Stewart seems to be one of those people who never really seem to age and his raspy voice has carried him through 5 decades of music. He can also switch genres with ease giving way to a wide audience of fans.
