Several Major Astronomy Events In 2019
If you're a super stargazer, you're going to love the coming year!
It starts with a partial solar eclipse on January 6th. But it doesn't stop there!
On January 21st, we will experience a "super blood wolf moon." That sounds quite mysterious and a little scary, but it's actually very cool. And according to NASA, it will be a "dazzling show."
Here are more astronomy events for the coming year:
Three supermoons, a blue moon, five eclipses, a rare planet transit, multiple meteor showers, a close approach by the moon and Jupiter, and several rocket launches. You can read more about all of these events here.
