Severe Impacts Expected with Weekend Storm

The National Weather Service says severe impacts from heavy snow, freezing rain, and wind are now expected to occur from late Friday through Saturday. A Blizzard Warning has been issued for west central Minnesota.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the St. Cloud area through 7 PM Sunday, where 4 to 8 inches of snowfall is possible.

From the National Weather Service this morning: Periods of heavy snow are expected from southwest Minnesota through northern and central Wisconsin into this evening. Wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph are possible. Blizzard conditions are expected in southwest into south central MN.
