I get that with this pandemic, certain things are falling off.  I get that some places will have to close, which is super unfortunate, and really sad.  I get that there is less need for some things that we normally used and places that we normally frequented pre-pandemic.  But BEER???  What the heck??

The beer I'm referring to isn't ALL beer. It's Budweiser.  I still don't get it.  But according to this, the iconic brand, which is SO American, has had some lagging sales.  It was originally founded by two German immigrants.  Anheuser-Busch is now owned by a Belgian company. The issue is the fact that millennials prefer craft beers, or more "hip" brews and alcoholic seltzers.  Although Bud Light has come out with a hard seltzer of their own. The other issue is the fact that people are so conscious of what they are eating and drinking more than ever before.  Cleaner hard liquor has been a main staple as of recent... like vodka and tequila.  Even though I have seen this myself, and have preferred those myself, I still find it hard to believe that this is the case.  It just seems so crazy.  But there it is...

There are several other brands and products that are probably going away in the near future.  Some are definitely because of lagging sales due to the pandemic, and others are just simply because of people's habits changing.  The focus is on different things than in previous years.  There are things that you probably never thought would go away, and others that quite frankly,  I glad that they are... things like.. CROCS. Buh-bye!  That hasn't happened quite yet, but it's on the way out.  See ya!
