ST. CLOUD -- You can learn about the culture of the country of India this weekend. The St. Cloud State University India Heritage Club is hosting its Indian Cultural Night on Saturday.

President Gunjan Suda says they'll be featuring food and dances from their country.

We're going to have a video presentation. We're going to have dances from different directions so the west, east, south and north and their different kinds of dances.  We'll portray our leaders of India so you'll learn more about that too.

Suda says they'll also highlight some of India's languages.

Suda says it's an opportunity to learn what India is really like.

I know a misconception at work that I had recently was, I'm going to India in May and one of my managers questioned if there was stable internet.  India has developed a lot over the years and everybody there uses the internet.

Cultural nights are back on campus this spring after not being able to host them for the past two years due to the pandemic.
