One of my favorite activities of all time is playing music, specifically guitar. I’ve been playing since I was about 13 years old, which means I have nearly 12 years of playing under my belt (good god I’m starting to feel old. I’m DREADING turning 25 next month.)

I know that having the guitar as your instrument of choice is a total cop out, but let’s be real here – being a guitar player is timelessly cool. You’re usually the leader of the band and get to share the spotlight with the lead singer. It’s a nice position to be in. As a guitarist I’m always looking for other players to watch perform, which is why I’m excited to see the St. Cloud Bella Corda on June 9th.

The St. Cloud Bella Corda was established in 2011 as the top performing ensemble at PMI Guitar School in St. Cloud, featuring High School aged players and their director, Kevin Carlson. Their performance will last from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at the Great River Regional Library (St. Cloud) and admission is free.
