ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- What could St. Cloud Area Schools look like in the future?  An innovative day of professional learning at St. Cloud Tech will look to answer just that question. Future Ready by Design will bring together students, teachers, and community members to imagine what learning in St. Cloud Area Schools will look like in the years ahead. The session is built around two coordinated pathways: a teacher-designed and teacher-led Professional Learning Pathway, and a 742 Future Ready by Design - Changemaker Hub that will engage students, district leaders, board members, industry leaders, and more.

All teachers in grades 6-12 will take part in the experience focused on artificial intelligence (AI), assessment, engagement, and climate. District 742 Superintendent Laurie Putnam says the district is committed to creating future-ready learning experiences for both students and staff, and the professional learning day allows them to strengthen instructional practice and explore innovative tools. Future Ready by Design takes place on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Tech High School.
