With kids out of school Monday morning, I brought my second-grader along with me to co-host the Morning Show on 96.7 The River. As part of our 7 o'clock segment, Charlie told us about his five favorite St. Cloud area places to go when the weather is cold (in no particular order).

#1- AIRMAXX TRAMPOLINE PARK

Charlie's take: "They have so much sick stuff there. You can jump on the trampolines and practice doing flips, you can destroy people at dodge ball and you can even play some basketball... but the hoop is crazy high."

#2- GREAT RIVER CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

Charlie's take: "They have a lot of cool science exhibits so you can learn and play at the same time. The outside playground is super sick, and the climbing area is really fun, too."

#3- BLACKLIGHT ADVENTURE

Charlie's take: "I had my birthday party there this year and all my friends said they had a lot of fun, plus they had their parties there, too! I love the laser tag and arcade games, but the laser maze is my favorite."

#4- SKATIN' PLACE

Charlie's take: "I don't really skate much, but there's still so much fun stuff there. I love to play the arcade games and win prizes, they have cool bounce houses and even lazer tag... underrated."

#5- SARTELL COMMUNITY CENTER

Charlie's take: "They have two really cool playgrounds (one inside and one outside), you can get some exercise and they have huge gyms to play basketball and pickleball, even though they are usually packed full of people."
