St. Cloud State University to Host Holocaust Speaker

ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- A man who survived the Holocaust will be speaking at St. Cloud State University on Wednesday.

Manny Gabler was born in Milan, Italy in 1938 after his parents fled Nazi Germany. His family eventually ended up in Shanghai, China where Gabler lived for nine years.

Gabler will be speaking at 2:00 p.m. in the Atwood Theatre.

SCSU's Center for Holocaust and Genocide Education organized the event.

It is free and open to the public.
