Minnesota-based airline company Sun Country is adding more flights out of MSP this fall to different vacation destinations.

The airline known for its orange and blue planes made the announcement Tuesday of some of the places they will be taking passengers this fall. Some are returning locations, and some are new direct flights:

  • Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport in Mississippi (Returning route)
  • Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Louisiana (Returning route)
  • Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina (New route)

Fall also brings back direct flights to Florida, Arizona, and Mexico for the fall and winter seasons, and be adding even more flights to those locations for easier travel. The company currently offers almost 100 routes to places in the United States, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.

Sun Country also announced a really fun offering for football fans, they will be doing a same-day round trip flight to Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport from MSP on November 21st for Vikings fans to watch their team play at Lambeau Field. They will also be offering a roundtrip package to Greenbay January 2nd -3rd for that game as well. I went through the booking process on the November 21st option and it costs $69 to fly to Greenbay and $100 to get back before taxes and fees. I'd do that over a road trip any day.
