The State Patrol responded to the fatality in northern Minnesota shortly after 7:30 Thursday evening. Authorities released the dirt bike operator’s name Friday morning.

The first deadly crash of the day involved a semi and pickup. The second reported fatality was a single-vehicle crash.

Two vehicles were involved in the Thursday night crash and the person killed in Friday morning’s crash was a motorcyclist.

Preliminary information released by the State Patrol indicates first responders were dispatched to the deadly crash shortly after 2:00 Tuesday morning.

The crash victim was the lone occupant of the only vehicle involved.

A total of 14 people were involved in the tragic two-vehicle collision. 13 were riding one of the vehicles, described as a transit van.

The person who called emergency services indicated their friend had become separated from the group.

The deadly crash occurred on Hwy. 210 about 10 miles west of Brainerd.

The drivers were the only people involved.
