NEW UPDATE: Blizzard Warnings have been changed to Winter Storm Warnings, with 6 inches of snow still possible Friday.

With gusts hitting 50 mph, this storm was no ordinary snowfall. It transformed the North Shore into a frosty fortress.

The warnings also extend to surrounding states. Some areas could experience up to a foot of snow and winds gusting as high as 65 mph.

Be safe, be cautious, and stay home if you can. It's looking like more of a "white-out" Christmas than just the white one we were dreaming of.
