The St. John's football team is climbing the national polls after posting a 35-13 win over 5th ranked Wartburg Saturday in Collegeville. The Johnnies are ranked #6 in this week's d3football.com Division III poll. Wartburg drops to #13 in this week's poll.

The St. John's football team is ranked #12 this week in the d3football.com Division III college football poll. The Johnnies opened the season with a 49-0 win over Carthage last Saturday in Collegeville.

The St. John's football is ranked #14 in the d3football.com preseason poll after posting a 8-2 record in 2023. St. John's head coach Gary Fasching joined me on WJON. He says the only ranking that really matters to him is the end of the year ranking where they hope to be #1.

The St. John's football team is ranked #6 in the d3football.com top 25 preseason poll. The Johnnies were 10-2 in 2022 and will open the season Saturday September 2 against #4 Trinity of Texas at noon in Collegeville.

St. Cloud State men's hockey is ranked #4 again this week in the USCHO.com division I poll. The Huskies split a pair of games last weekend with 2nd ranked Denver. SCSU won 4-3 in overtime Friday and lost 3-2 Saturday.

Over 35,000 people saw the St. John's University Johnnies and the St. Thomas University Tommies at Target Field Saturday afternoon.

The #10 SJU Johnnies (1-0) set a new national Division III record this afternoon, routing St. Scholastica 98-0 at Clemens Stadium in Collegeville. The previous record was held by Concordia-Moorhead, who beat Macalester 97-6 in 1977.
