Oh yes, Easter. A holiday that really isn’t all that fun unless you’re a child. It may have lost its magic for me as an adult, but back in the day when I had the luxury of Easter egg hunting, it was a total blast. I sort of view Easter as being “Halloween light.” Why?

Because Halloween is a holiday for adults as well as kids, and we all get treats. For kids its candy and for adults its usually alcohol. Something I look forward to every year is dressing up like Anakin Skywalker and going bar-hopping with my friends. It’s a blast. Unfortunately, Easter bears no such fun for us adults.

But hey, that doesn’t mean that the kiddos can’t have some fun. If you know some younglings that would like to go egg hunting this Easter you might want to check out the Bunny Brunch and Big Egg Hunt at Sibley Park in Minneapolis, March 31 from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The event is all ages, activities are free, and the brunch is only $7 for adults and $5 for kids.  Activities include egg coloring, arts and crafts, egg hunt, face painting and a magic show. Brunch tickets are sold at the front desk at the day of the event. The egg hunt will follow breakfast at approximately 11:45 a.m.
