The Stadium Tour.  This is the tour featuring Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.  They are scheduled to play at US Bank Stadium on June 27th.  From everything that has been happening this year, I can't imagine that this is going to happen as planned.

I was wondering what the deal was... why haven't we gotten any kind of final word.  If you go to the US Bank Stadium site, you see that tickets are still on sale, and the show still looks to be scheduled as planned.

I found this statement, however, supposedly from some social media platform representing the bands.  I found it here - a paper from San Diego, not on social media... but this is the statement:

“We wanted to reach out to all of our amazing fans and let you know that we’ve been hard at work preparing an amazing show. Our priority during this unprecedented time is to make sure that we are being as thoughtful and responsible as possible in the decisions we are making regarding The Stadium Tour and that we are putting the fans’ health, well being and safety first and foremost. We are currently weighing all options and are awaiting further direction from the powers that be. Our goal is to have an official update to everyone by June 1 outlining exactly how we will proceed. In the meantime, stay safe and healthy. We cant wait to see you all again.”

So, from this you can see that obviously this is not going to happen as scheduled.  But sounds like they are waiting to make an official statement until they know exactly how this will play out. They can put some new dates together, venues, etc.  I guess I would rather have that happen than them just saying it's cancelled with no real plan in place.

So, here's to 2021, because 2020 seems to be the year of "nothing".

Everyone next year is probably going to be SO ready to get out and see some live music.  Take care!
