Skyrock Farm is a horse farm located in Medina, Minnesota. In addition to riding programs, lessons and coaching, Skyrock Farms offers camps, field trips, wedding/event hosting, tours and more.

My son's school recently took a field trip to Skyrock Farms and I tagged along as a chaperone. It was a really fun day for the kids and adults alike!

We started out in the arena area where the well-trained horses showed off their jumping skills and did some tricks for the cheering kids. "Brownie" was a fan-favorite for the kids with its bodacious braid and big personality.

After a tour of the stables, where we saw horses (and chickens) of all sizes, we were led into the event building. This is where the true magic of Skyrock Farms is located.

You see, the building is home to a veritable museum of carnival memorabilia and antique, restored pipe organs that are over 100 years old. The organs have to be seen to be believed, and the operators of Skyrock Farms have even hand-programmed several contemporary songs to be played by the beautiful instruments.

In addition to the period-accurate songs, we got to hear Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" as played by this spectacular organ.
