Tri-County Humane Society Hosting Another Online Silent Auction

Don't worry, with all the crazy things happening in the world right now, pets are still being cared for at the Tri-County Humane Society, but that can't happen without the wonderful volunteers and staff, and donations from the community.

To help the pets in an age of staying at home and social distancing, the Tri-County Humane Society has been hosting online silent auctions on Facebook for different baskets, and area businesses have jumped on board to donate.

Help support Tri-County Humane Society pets by bidding in our online silent auction! Here how it works: Post your bid as a comment in the item's post. Bidding closes at 2 p.m. SHARP on Thursday, April 9.

Baskets included in this silent auction include:

• Capital Genealogy basket that entitles the winner to two (2) hours of Professional Genealogist Family History Research
• Pantown Brewery Basket that includes merch and a certificate for beer
• Auto detailing kit
• Cat themed basket that has everything you and your feline friend could need
• Remington RUSTLER Straight Shaft Yard Trimmer

There is a little something for everyone on this silent auction. Get your bids in and help out the animals in any way you can. They are still doing adoptions during the stay at home order, just reach out to them to make an appointment.

Here is one of the animals at TCHS in need of a home this week:

Mello is 3.5 years old and ready for a new home. He is so over the shelter experience and is sad every time he has to go back in his kennel after a walk. Although he is a sweetheart, he does not do well with other pets, so he MUST be a solo guy. He has been in and out of the shelter since mid-February, so we'd REALLY like him to get a home ASAP.
