Twin Cities Summer Jam has said that it will honor all tickets purchased or won through contests or giveaways intended for this year's 2020 festival for next year's event.

Like nearly every other major music event planned for 2020, Twin Cities Summer Jam's three-day music festival scheduled in July was cancelled due to COVID-19.

We have made a very difficult decision, and regret to inform you that Twin Cities Summer Jam, originally scheduled for July 23-25, 2020, will be postponed and rescheduled for July 22-24, 2021.

In communication with our partners at Canterbury Park, as well as all of our sponsors and vendors, we are all in agreement that this decision is in the best interest for all involved. It is impossible to predict the scale of the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and the health and safety of our community, our fans, our staff, our artists and all involved with TCSJ is our number one priority.

Twin Cities Summer Jam organizers have confirmed that all tickets purchased for the 2020 event will be valid for the 2021 dates, though some have wondered if that includes tickets won through contests or giveaways such as through radio stations including ours. We have confirmed that yes, those tickets will be valid and honored at next year's event as well. If you won tickets for Summerjam 2020 and have not yet received them, let us know, and we'll be sure to keep your name and details on record. We will then call you when we have received the tickets from the event organizers for you to pick up.

"Future announcements," says organizers, "including which of our 2020 artists will be performing at the rescheduled 2021 event, will be posted on our website, social channels, and sent to our Jam Fam via email as the information becomes available."

So far, confirmed acts for the 2021 festival include Zac Brown Band and Carrie Underwood.
