The Minnesota Twins are poised to make MLB history -- becoming the first team ever to lose more than 100 games one year, and make the post-season the next. Their magic number is now just one game to clinch the final wildcard spot in the American League.

Following Minnesota's 8-6 win tonight in Cleveland -- either a Twins win against the Indians Wednesday night or a loss by the Los Angeles Angels will clinch a spot in the post-season wildcard game for Minnesota.

The Wildcard matchup would have the Twins facing the Yankees in a winner-take-all one game showdown in New York for the right to advance to the American League Divisional Series.

The Twins face the Indians Wednesday night (9/27) in Cleveland. The Los Angeles Angels face the White Sox tomorrow night in Chicago.

Go Twins!
