
Trivia, Chocolate, And Art Await In St. Cloud This Weekend
Is it Valentine's Day weekend or President's Day weekend? Wait, it's both! That means it's twice the holiday fun, and St. Cloud and beyond are aiming to provide that excitement to you. There is no shortage of great events to choose from. You can still sign up for St. Cloud State University's KVSC Annual Trivia Marathon for 50 hours straight of trivia mayhem. But don't forget about the other great events WJON has already told you about, like Cold Spring's Chocolate Crawl, Great River Arts' Mardi Gras Party, Great River Children's Museum's Sip N' Play, and Catfish Fest.

PARENTS DAY OUT - ST. CLOUD
Give the kids something to do while you take some much-deserved time off for yourself with the St. Cloud Area YMCA’s Parents Day Out. Let the Y watch your kids and keep them entertained while you go shopping, take in a movie, or just spend some time on your own. The YMCA will keep the kids engaged with interactive play, crafts, and a chance to make new friends. The cost is $29 for members and $34 for non-members. It’s a Valentine’s Day win-win for all.
Saturday: 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
CREATE YOUR OWN PERFUME - ST. CLOUD
Why not spend Valentine’s Day a day late and make yourself or that special someone a one-of-a-kind perfume? The Perfume Bar at Pantown Brewing will have 36 fragrance blends to craft into your unique scent. You will be provided with blending instructions, and there will be experts on hand to help you make your perfume. When done, you will get a 30 ml bottle to bring home. There will be both men’s and women’s fragrances. It costs $50 to attend and includes one drink ticket.
Sunday: 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Channel your inner Picasso and Rembrandt by painting a picture of your best friend, soul mate, partner, sibling, etc. You and a friend will paint each other at the same time while you enjoy some snacks and non-alcoholic beverages in the laid-back, picturesque setting of Lake George. No experience is required, and all supplies are included. My only question is, how will my dog be able to paint me? The cost is $55 per participant, and pre-registration is required. Each person needs to register separately.
Friday: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
RV SHOW - MINNEAPOLIS
If the St. Cloud Sportsmen’s Show wasn’t enough to get you powered up for the summer, then head down to the Minneapolis Convention Center for the Ultimate RV Show. There will be over 300 new and slightly used RVs on display for you to explore. Plus, new product debuts, camping products, exhibitors, American Cornhole League on site, on-site pet adoption, and a kids’ zone. Admission to the event is free by just going to the event website to register and get your ticket.
Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Monday: 10:00 – 6:00 p.m.
RODEO - ST. PAUL
You have two opportunities to have a rootin’, tootin’, good time for Valentine’s weekend. The World’s Toughest Rodeo makes its return to Grand Casino Arena with triple the fun of action, competition, and entertainment ready to be let loose. There will be all your favorite events like Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, and Bareback Riding. Plus, there is the free pre-show with your paid admission, with pony rides, meet and greets, hop in the clown’s barrel, grab a seat in the bucking shoot, and get photos with bulls Indy and Dopy. Tickets range from $39 to $153.
