After a rough week against the Bears, the Vikings took care of business and did what they needed to do. Beat a team that they should beat.

Cousin looked a lot better against a Giant defense that is terrible. He attempted and completed passes in situations he hasn't lately...into tight coverage. He went 22 for 27 for 306 yards and a quarterback rating of 138.

Dalvin Cook was once again amazing. The offensive line blocked really well today and Cook finished with 21 carries for 132 yards and 6 catches for 86 yards. My fingers are crossed that he stays healthy all year.

The defense also looked good. They shut down the rookie QB Jones and came up big when the team needed them to. A safety after a Cook fumble, four sacks and a interception at the end to seal the game.

But there were WAY to many penalties. False starts, holding and pass interference for a total of 12 penalties for 112 yards. They have to stop those stupid mistakes. There were also a couple of missed calls by the officials that I thought were big. I thought they missed a block in the back on a big kickoff return that set up the only Giants touchdown and a missed pass interference call on Diggs in the end zone.

After all the controversy this past week, I'm sure Thielen and Diggs are much happier after this game.

Vikings are now 3 and 2. The Bears lost to the Raiders in London so they are 3 and 2 as well. If the Packers lose, they will also be 3 and 2. All of us Vikings fans are cheering for the Cowboys today.

Vikings have the Eagles at home next week and it's a game they have to win given the schedule coming up with games against the Chiefs, Cowboys, Seahawks and Chargers on the road.
