Going into last weeks' game against Seattle, we knew that in order for the Vikings to be Kings of the North, they had to run the table. A complete 3rd quarter collapse in that game stopped that before it even got started.

Now, they not only have to take care of their own business to win the division but they need some help. Both Minnesota and Green Bay have three division games left and the Vikings (8-4) have all three of them at home. First up, the Detroit Lions (3-8-1) at US Bank Stadium.

On paper, this game should be a walk in the park. No Matthew Stafford, they have a rookie QB making his 2nd start of his career and the Lions have nothing to play for. But that also means they have nothing to lose. That can be dangerous and they have some good receivers. And what's the Vikings defensive weakness? Exactly.

Detroit always seems to play the Vikings well. Since 2010, the Vikings have 10 wins and the Lions have 9 wins . The Minnesota beat Detroit 42-30 win last time these two teams played. It was only game the Lions have lost by double digits this year.

The Vikings are 5-0 at home and the Lions are 1-4-1 on the road. SKOL!
