A scary moment for anyone, especially a child and their parents. An 8 year old slipped through the chair lift and hung on for dear life, 25 feet in the air, while his dad held on to him. Some teenagers came up with a plan. One grabbed some of the orange fencing they use to mark the trails and they used it as a makeshift net. They got the boy to kick his ski's off and they put another pad on top of the orange fence piece. Soon others joined in to help and they had the father let him go. They caught him safely and he had no serious injuries. The teenagers received complementary season passes for their quick think and heroism.
