When She Told Me This Chicken Sandwich Was Called ‘The G.O.A.T’ I Didn’t Believer Her
YUMMY YUMMY CHICKEN
When you're talking about your favorite meats, it seems like chicken is definitely at the top of the list, at least here in Minnesota. That being said, if you are ready for a road trip to try a sandwich called The GOAT, you're in for a real treat.
THE BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH IN THE COUNTRY
The Hen House Eatery in Minneapolis has a delightful sandwich that has just been named 'The Best Chicken Sandwich in the Country!' Yes! I said IN THE COUNTRY! If you love chicken sandwiches, make a road trip to Minneapolis and try this one out.
THE GOAT
'The GOAT', which stands for 'The Greatest of All Time', just earned The Hen House in Minneapolis a $20,000 grand prize! The Goat is a cajun-seasoned chicken breast, with BBQ sauce, bacon and pepperjack cheese.
Part-owner of The Hen House Eatery, Maribel Cuadros said, "Tara, the owner, came in with the idea. She said somebody approached her and asked her if we wanted to be a part of the competition. It was a very famous bread company." The famous company that made the suggestion was Sara Lee!
THE HEN HOUSE EATERY
The Hen House is comprised of three women who consider themselves sisters.'We fight, we get along, we do everything sisters do. It's Tara, Barb, and me. We worked together in downtown. We served breakfast for a long time. One day, Tara decided to give us the idea that we could do it fun and private, and we decided to keep doing it,' said Cuadros, according to cbsnews.com.
$20,000 GRAND PRIZE!
That $20,000 was something the three weren't expecting. They are planning on spending some of that money for a holiday party for their staff members and they want to donate a portion of the winnings to a charity that helps burn victims and their families, called Firefighters for Healing.
The Hen House Eatery is located on the corner of 8th Street and Second Avenue in Minneapolis.
